Traditional Taekwondo for Beginners

Join us for an exciting Taekwondo workshop designed for beginners ages 10 and up! This session will kick off with essential warm-up exercises to improve flexibility, strength, and coordination, followed by marching basics to help build proper stances and footwork. White belt students will focus on learning the foundational form (pattern), building balance and focus. The workshop will also introduce one-step sparring, where you’ll practice basic offense and defense moves against a punch, and explore special techniques such as self-defense and practical applications. In addition, you’ll learn fundamental manners and protocols, as respect is a core principle of traditional Taekwondo. Whether you’re new or looking to strengthen your basics, this workshop provides the perfect starting point for your martial arts journey! Be sure to wear appropriate attire for working out and athletic shoes. Cost: $110.
